- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University
- Masters of Science in Engineering from University of Alabama in Huntsville
- Licensed Professional Engineer in 48 states and Dist of Columbia, LEED Accredited Professional
- Former Licensed Electrical Contractor
- Previous experience with Nuclear Power-Tennessee Valley Authority, US Army Corps of Engineers, and US Army Department of Defense.
- Over 40 years of experience
- Joined LMHT in 1991 and founded the PME engineering department in the company
About
- His father, a welder, inspired him to pursue this career. His father built nuclear plants, walked structural steel, and welded pipe and all types of metal. As a child, his father’s work looked like art to him. He and his father worked on so many projects together and his father taught him more than any school ever did. He finds satisfaction in having a positive impact on people, employees, and clients. In his time off he enjoys traveling to national parks, mountain biking, boating, and spending time with family.

He was inspired by architecture when he saw the tall buildings in Chicago when he was 10. He finds satisfaction in seeing a drawn image on paper come to life in the physical. He enjoys movies, golf, and being with his family.

He’s had a love for architecture and building design since middle school. He’s thankful for the company and the family atmosphere. As he sees it,“We work really hard, but always take the time to have fun with our co-workers.” His hobbies include traveling, camping, off-roading, watching NASCAR, football, and hockey.
