Our Electrical Designer I is a position focused on supporting the design of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and communication systems. This role involves preparing design documents, coordinating with other teams, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with codes.
Duties and responsibilities
- Design Assistance: Assist with the design of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and communication.
- Documentation: Create electrical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams to support project goals.
Requirements and Skills
- Education: Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in electrical design.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in electrical design software.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and codes.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based with occasional site visits and travel for client meetings.
- May require extended hours during critical project phases
